Flowise deleted its CSV Agent after the regex guarding model-written code failed repeatedly

Flowise fixed a CVSS 9.8 remote-code bug in its CSV Agent with a stricter regex, then saw that filter fail through five more CVEs. It deleted the feature in June, and the patch history is a case against trusting a string filter to vet model-written code.

Restoring CPython from a memory snapshot would freeze its randomized hash seed

Hood Chatham's Pyodide tests ran Hello, world about 4x faster from a memory snapshot, but every restored process would share one hash seed. He wants Python to add an initialization phase that runtimes and libraries can re-run to put the randomness back.

Cloudflare's Python Workers GA hands WebAssembly wheel builds to package maintainers

Cloudflare took Python Workers to general availability two years after preview, built on PEP 783, a WebAssembly packaging standard it proposed. Native-package support now depends on upstream maintainers building those wheels and keeping urllib3's fetch path working.

Three flipped defaults in n8n 2.0 can change a workflow nobody edited

A dev.to walkthrough of the n8n 1.x to 2.0 upgrade treats it as a host-configuration review, because the defaults that changed decide what Code nodes may read and which nodes exist at all.

Flet 1.0 puts synchronous event handlers on the application's event loop

Feodor Fitsner rebuilt Flet's internals before attaching a stable version number, so the release that arrived on September 15 is also the one that stops running the 0.28 code his users already wrote.

FFmpeg.wasm ships, but budget for a watchdog: one in ten heavy jobs deadlocked in silence

A developer running media conversion entirely in the browser reports that FFmpeg.wasm hung with no error and no log on roughly one heavy job in ten until he added a 180 second idle timer.
