PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange, originally on BNB Chain, offering v3 concentrated-liquidity trading pools and its native CAKE token.
PancakeSwap's discussion-stage proposal would send 88% of v3 and Infinity trading fees to liquidity providers, Crypto Briefing reported. Its 69% emissions cut is cumulative since April 2025, so the new step alone removes about 45% of today's daily CAKE issuance.

79thVault's 79AU pool on PancakeSwap was drained on October 7 through a permission inside the project's own token. Cryptopolitan reported that the attacker has returned 15,000 of the 16,249 BNB, and the team plans to re-seed the pool behind burned LP tokens, the same lock Bitquery found on 79% of receipts when it was drained.
