Google Play will block updates from apps whose native libraries lack 16 KB page support starting February 1, 2027, a dev.to guide says. That includes native code inside third-party SDKs, so a team that never wrote C++ can fail the check.

Plugin-heavy Capacitor apps built on the default template fail Google Play's 2027 DEX rule

Google Play will require apps with more than 10 MB of DEX code to score at least 25% on obfuscation, optimisation and shrinking from February 2027. Capacitor's Android template ships with R8 switched off, so plugin-heavy apps built from it have to turn on minification and test the result before that date.

Amazon's Alexa Tablet 12 Pro with keyboard and pen costs $407 less than an iPad Air with keyboard and pencil

Amazon's Alexa Tablet 12 Pro ships Oct. 14 at $499.99, about $249 below the $749 starting price of Apple's iPad Air M4. With keyboard and stylus the gap grows to about $407, and for a work fleet the choice then turns on apps, cellular needs and assistant controls.

An Android release pipeline consumed several times GitHub's 500MB Actions quota in about ten days

The failure landed on artifact upload, weeks after the pipeline went stable. The audit found ten near-identical Gradle caches, one per active branch, a hashFiles key that never matched anything, and 30-day retention on 70MB builds.

Apple charges 99 USD a membership year, about 9,500 rupees at September's rate. That membership is what keeps an app downloadable. When it lapses, existing installs keep working and everything else stops.
